KSB provides pumps for flood management in Paraguay

KSB Group has gained a contract to ship 14 large submersible motor pumps for flood management in Paraguay.

The KSB pumps will equip numerous pumping stations belonging to the “Costanera de Pilar y management de inundaciones” venture. They might be used to stop future flooding through the high-water season alongside the tributaries of the Río Paraguay.
The metropolis of Pilar is located 230 km south-west of Paraguay’s capital Asunción, on the Argentinian border.
Each of the Amacan submersible motor pumps weighs six tonnes and is pushed by a 370 kW, 380 volt motor. The most move rate of every axial flow pump set is about 18 000 cubic metres per hour.
Profit are anticipated to be delivered by the end of this 12 months.
